Lavender Fields at Maxwell Farm’s 2nd Annual Lavender Festival

July 18 and 19, 2026 will be the days to visit the lavender farm if you are looking for a family friendly sensory experience. Take the kids on a River Walk to get some nature education. Skip rocks in the cold river and learn plant names as you listen to the river running over rocks. Then stroll through the lavender and breathe in the calming lavender as you pick a bouquet to take home with you. Sit in the green space chairs, sip a beverage from Bittersweet Farm Brewery as you listen to one of the bands serenading the crowd. Check out the vendors in the Pole Barn and the Farm Store in the main barn. Local artisans will be there to share their wares with you. Take the kids to the Kidz Zone in the Pole Barn to get their faces painted, make crafts and play games! Hungry? Treat yourself to some delicious food from .The DelCo Food Dude.
